Proved : The World is flat
There is still quite a lot of debate about the earth being round.
I'm pretty sure its not round, and there's actually a really neat little experiment you can do at home that disproves the "round earth" theory:
You will notice how the smaller ball will roll off the larger ball, since both are round.
If, however, you place the same ball on the ground, i.e. on the top of the round earth (the top is where ever you are, because, if the "round earth" theorists are right, the earth is round), you will notice that the ball does not roll off to one side.
This home experiment disproves the "round earth" theory, and it's a really neat trick you can do with the kids to get them involved in science from an early age.
Kids are the future, you know.
THIS IS COSMIC BLASTING OFF !!!!!!!!

I thought it was some greek naked dude... holding the earth aloft !!
ReplyDelete@Ashwini,
ReplyDeleteYou forgot to thank me for your new found knowledge..
Buahhahahhaaa..
(That was an evil laugh)
@Ashish,
ReplyDeleteYes Yes, that Naked Greek Dude is our Atlas.... but he is actually holding a plate, (coz as it is so obvious that the earth is flat) and not a globe, as mis-informed by hundreds of years of wasted education system
ur ball ratios dont match..ur ball rolled down due to earths gravity..also instead of ur experiment we can just look outside and say everything is flat..so earth is flat..i got ur experiment..but jst an opinion..probably ur trying to convey somethin else..which i probably dint understand..ur makin kids reason is it??

ReplyDeletereplace the second round ball in the first experiment with something a lot rounder (like the pot belly of an indian police officer) :D You will see why the round earth theorist are rite :P
ReplyDeleteI am convinced. Please let me know where the flat earth ends, so that I dont roll my ball to fast :)
ReplyDeleteWoah...kitna achha logic hain. Patent karvado before someone else presents this as their own theory :p
ReplyDeleteLol... this is ur first post m reading.. so i hope this was meant in humor! ;-) Y not try the same experiment with a lil round grain/pulse etc.. it wouldn't fall off would it? ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you get this published in textbooks? What are you waiting for? :D
ReplyDeleteIrrefutable logic, I must say. And yes, spread the word!
ReplyDeleteThe contents are really good…

"Round ball"? You mean there are other kinds?
ReplyDelete@ Anon..
ReplyDeleteOf course there are other kinds of balls.
Have you not seen a game of Rugby or American Football ?
And the definition of Ball is:
Noun:
A solid or hollow sphere or ovoid, esp. one that is kicked, thrown, or hit in a game.
LOL :D
ReplyDeleteI would love to know how do you explain the rest of physics ? :P
P.S :
You might love to check this..a little appreciation from my side :)
